♻ Product Condition Disclosure

Unless clearly stated otherwise, products sold by TechHavenCanada are used or professionally refurbished.

All refurbished items are:

  • Thoroughly tested through multiple inspection stages
  • Fully functional at the time of shipment
  • Cleaned and graded based on cosmetic condition

Minor cosmetic wear may be present depending on grade and is not considered a defect.


🔧 Hardware Warranty (Refurbished Products)

Our hardware warranty covers:

  • Repair or replacement of defective hardware components
  • Replacement units will be of the same or better model, when available

Dead on Arrival (DOA)

  • DOA issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery
  • We will cover all shipping costs for repair or replacement
  • A valid RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number is required before returning any product

Customers experiencing hardware issues during the warranty period must contact support to obtain an RMA before shipping the item back.


🎨 Cosmetic Condition

Refurbished laptops are graded by cosmetic condition.
Cosmetic imperfections (scratches, marks, or signs of wear) do not affect performance and are not covered under warranty.

If the cosmetic condition does not meet your expectations:

  • Notify us within 7 days of delivery
  • A refund will be issued (no exchange for cosmetic concerns)

🔋 Battery Warranty

Unlike many sellers, TechHavenCanada does provide battery warranty.

  • Batteries are tested and guaranteed to hold a minimum of 1 hour charge when fully charged
  • Battery performance expectations are listed in product descriptions
  • Exceptions will be clearly noted where applicable

💽 Software Disclaimer

  • Software is not covered under warranty
  • We do not provide ongoing software support
  • This includes OS configuration, application installation, network setup, viruses, or crashes

Returned units may require a fresh operating system installation.
Customers are responsible for backing up all personal data prior to return.
Data transfer or recovery is not provided.


🔄 Returns & Restocking

  • Returns after the 7-day satisfaction window and up to 30 days are subject to:
    • 15% restocking fee
    • Shipping costs deducted
  • No returns, refunds, or buybacks accepted after 30 days
  • Non-defective returns are subject to restocking fees

📦 Return Authorization (RMA)

  • All returns must have a valid RMA number
  • Unauthorized returns will be refused
  • RMA number must be clearly marked on the package
  • Proof of purchase must be included
