These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website and services provided by TechHavenCanada. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Order Processing

TechHavenCanada does not automatically capture credit card payments at checkout. All orders are subject to manual review and payment authorization.

  • Upon checkout, you will receive an automated order confirmation email with status “Processing”
  • Once payment authorization is successfully obtained, the order status will change to “Processed”, and an invoice confirmation will be emailed
  • When the order ships, the status will update to “Complete”, along with shipment tracking details
  • If authorization cannot be obtained, the order status will change to “On Hold”, and you may be contacted for further action

If authorization cannot be completed within 2 business days, the order may be automatically cancelled.


2. Identity & Payment Verification

To prevent fraud and protect our customers, TechHavenCanada may perform identity and address verification. This process ensures that the billing name, address, and phone number match the information on file with your card issuer.

Verification may be required for:

  • New customer accounts
  • Guest checkout orders
  • Orders with different billing and shipping addresses
  • Third-party or alternate pickup requests

If additional information is required, we will contact you using the billing phone number provided.
Failure to complete verification within 2 business days may result in order cancellation.

Orders are subject to verification and cancellation at our sole discretion.


3. Phone Confirmation

Some orders require phone confirmation as part of the verification process. This requires direct contact with the customer at the billing phone number on file.

If we are unable to reach you:

  • A voicemail or email may be sent requesting a callback
  • Orders not verified within 2 business days will be cancelled automatically

If you do not wish to be contacted or your billing phone number is inactive, please do not proceed with the order until your bank records are updated.


4. Returns & Refunds

Return Eligibility

  • Within 7 days of delivery:
    Full refund (including shipping), no reason required
  • 8–30 days from delivery:
    Refund or exchange subject to a 15% restocking fee, shipping costs excluded
  • After 30 days:
    No returns, refunds, exchanges, or buybacks accepted

Late claims for incorrect, incomplete, or defective shipments are not accepted after 30 days.


5. Warranty Information

Warranty Coverage

All laptops sold by TechHavenCanada include a limited hardware warranty of 30 days (1 month) unless otherwise stated on the product page

Warranty begins on the date of delivery

Warranty coverage applies to hardware components only

Software is not covered

Warranty is non-transferable.


Warranty Process

  • Customers must contact support to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
  • Returns without a valid RMA may be subject to restocking fees
  • Issues such as DOA, wrong item shipped, or shipping damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Software or software-related issues
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, fire, liquid, power surge, or physical damage
  • Missing or altered serial numbers
  • Cosmetic wear reported after the 7-day return window
  • Data loss (customers are responsible for backing up all data)

Battery life estimates are based on manufacturer specifications and are not guaranteed.


6. Software Disclaimer

TechHavenCanada does not provide software support for refurbished products.
This includes but is not limited to:

  • Operating system issues
  • Software installation
  • Network or internet configuration
  • Viruses or malware

Units returned for service may require OS reinstallation. Data recovery or transfer is not provided.


7. Payments

  • All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  • Payment must be authorized prior to shipment
  • We accept credit cards issued in Canada and the USA only
  • International cards are not accepted

Orders may be cancelled due to security concerns, including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect billing details
  • Proxy or masked IP usage
  • VoIP or unverifiable phone numbers
  • Address inconsistencies or red-flagged information

8. Pricing & Listing Errors

Product pricing, availability, and specifications are subject to change without notice.
TechHavenCanada reserves the right to cancel orders resulting from listing or pricing errors.


9. Availability & Backorders

  • Backordered items will show estimated availability dates
  • Customers will be notified of significant delays
  • In rare cases, listed items may be unavailable or not as described due to inventory or listing errors
  • In such cases, orders may be cancelled and refunded

10. Shipping Policy

  • Shipment rerouting or redirection without authorization will result in automatic return and order cancellation
  • Tracking information must not be shared with unauthorized parties
  • Delivery times are estimates provided by carriers and are not guaranteed
  • Lost shipments require carrier confirmation before refunds or replacements are issued
  • Address corrections after shipment may incur a $40 per box fee

11. Taxes & Final Sale

  • Applicable taxes apply to all Canadian orders
  • All sales are considered final after applicable return periods
  • TechHavenCanada reserves the right to refuse service or sales for security or conduct-related reasons

12. Limitation of Liability

TechHavenCanada shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
